We are located between Tranquility Wildlife Reservation and Corcovado National Park. The animals roam freely through our property to cross the two biggest reserves in the area, meaning that Maze Lodge is a corridor between two vital nature reserves.
Since starting the hotel project, we have always been aware of our sorroundings - therefore the mindset has always been that the native animals comes first and we need to make “blend in” to our sorroundings for the wildlife to stay undesturbed. We have built in between the existing primary rainforest to preserve the wildlife in the area. We are not here to destroy, we are here to enjoy the vibrant wildlife that Osa Peninsula has to offer with our guests.
