About the lodge
Turtle Lodge is a cosy, charming 25 m² lodge built for two. A large queen-size bed with double sliding doors onto a 15 m² terrace looking over the forest — and down to the pool. Simple, and everything you need.
Inside: the queen bed with two bedside tables, a dining corner for two, a small kitchen with mini fridge, freezer, coffee/tea maker and utensils, and a private bathroom with a hot-water shower. Air conditioning with HEPA filter, ceiling fan, a row of hooks for your things, private entrance.
Outside is where you'll live: a grill, outdoor furniture under the parasol, and 15 m² of terrace looking over the forest and down to the pool. The lodge runs entirely on our solar system and well water. Take your morning coffee out here with your eyes and ears open — you never know which monkey, or what else, will come past.
Who it's for
People who came for the jungle rather than a schedule — a couple, two friends, or one person with the forest to themselves. Slow mornings and no rush.

Good to know
- Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am — tell us your arrival time and we'll be there (or leave everything ready for self check-in).
- Food: no restaurant on site. Cook in your lodge, or eat in Puerto Jiménez, 25 minutes away — we'll send you our list of favourites.
- Getting here: gravel track for the last stretch; 4x4 recommended. No car? The taxi we work with is $25 each way from town (+506 8378 5961, English and Spanish) — tell us and we'll call them for you.
- Wildlife: the lodge is inside a wildlife corridor. Monkeys, coatis and birds pass through daily — keep food inside and the terrace doors closed when you're out.
