About the lodge
Turtle Lodge is a cosy, charming 25 m² cottage built for couples. A large queen-size bed with double sliding doors onto a 15 m² terrace looking over the forest — and down to the pool. Small on purpose: everything you need, nothing in the way.
Inside: the queen bed with two bedside tables, a dining corner for two, a small kitchen with mini fridge, freezer, coffee/tea maker and utensils, and a private bathroom. Air conditioning with HEPA filter, ceiling fan, clothing storage, private entrance.
Outside: the terrace with outdoor furniture and a grill, where the morning coffee takes a while because there is always something moving in the trees. The cottage runs on our solar system and well water, and your hosts are ten seconds away on WhatsApp to plan excursions.

Good to know
- Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 11 am — tell us your arrival time and we'll be there (or leave everything ready for self check-in).
- Food: no restaurant on site. Cook in your lodge, or eat in Puerto Jiménez, 25 minutes away — we'll send you our list of favourites.
- Getting here: gravel track for the last stretch; 4x4 recommended, or we pick you up in town for free.
- Wildlife: the lodge is inside a wildlife corridor. Monkeys, coatis and birds pass through daily — keep food inside and the terrace doors closed when you're out.
